🚀 Getting Started

Do I need to create an account?

No. Solorise CRM requires no account, no login and no email address. Open the app and start working immediately.

Is the app free?

Solorise CRM is free to download from the App Store. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no paywalls.

What does "local-first" mean?

Local-first means all your data is stored directly on your iPhone in a private database. There are no cloud servers involved. Your records never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.

This means the app works fully without an internet connection, and only you have access to your data.

How do I load demo data to explore the app?

Go to Settings → Data & Storage → Load Demo Data. This creates a set of sample customers, appointments, tasks and payments so you can explore the app before adding your own records.

Demo data can be cleared at any time from the same menu.

How do I change the language or date format?

Go to Settings → Appearance. You can choose from 17 available languages and set your preferred date format (DD.MM.YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, or MM/DD/YYYY).

🗂️ Backup & Restore

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings → Data & Storage → Create Backup. The app creates a JSON backup file and saves it to the app's private backup folder on your device.

After the backup is created, you'll be offered the option to share or save it to Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop or any other destination via iOS's Share Sheet.

Can the app back up automatically?

Yes. In Settings → Data & Storage, you can set an automatic backup schedule: daily, weekly or monthly. The app will create a backup in the background and keep the last 10 backup files automatically.

How do I restore from a backup?

Go to Settings → Data & Storage → Restore from Backup. You have three options:

  1. Choose from Files — opens the system file picker so you can select any backup file (.json) from anywhere
  2. Latest Backup — restores directly from the most recent backup stored inside the app
  3. Older Backups — lists all previous backup files stored inside the app
I deleted the app — can I recover my data?

When an app is deleted from iPhone, all its data is permanently removed by iOS. If you had previously exported a backup file to Files, iCloud Drive or another location, you can reinstall the app and restore from that file.

Recommendation: Enable automatic backups and save them to iCloud Drive regularly so you always have a recent copy outside the app.

What format are backup files in? Can I open them?

Backup files are in JSON format (.json extension). They contain all your records (customers, appointments, tasks, payments, expenses, activities) and can be opened in any text editor. The file also contains a checksum used to verify the backup is not corrupted before restoring.

👤 Customers

How do I add a customer status?

When creating or editing a customer, you can set their status to one of four values: Active, Potential, Inactive or Blacklist. Use the Customers list filter to view each group separately.

Can I mark a customer as a favourite?

Yes. Open a customer's detail page and tap the star icon in the top-right corner. Favourite customers appear in a quick-access section at the top of the Dashboard.

How does the customer search work?

The search bar on the Customers page searches across name, phone, email and address. It supports Unicode normalisation, so searching without Turkish special characters (ş, ğ, ı, etc.) will still find matching records.

For a global search across all data types, use the search icon on the Dashboard.

📅 Appointments

How do appointment reminders work?

When you create or edit an appointment, you can set a reminder (e.g. 15 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before). The app schedules a local notification on your device for that time.

Notifications must be allowed for Solorise CRM in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications.

I'm not receiving appointment notifications.

Check the following:

  1. Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Solorise CRM and make sure notifications are enabled.
  2. Confirm the appointment has a reminder set (not "No Reminder").
  3. Make sure the appointment's start time is in the future.
  4. Check that Do Not Disturb / Focus mode is not blocking notifications.
Can I set up recurring appointments?

Yes. When creating an appointment, set the Recurrence field to daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Each occurrence is saved as an independent appointment so you can edit or delete them individually.

✅ Tasks & Reminders

How do I link a task to a customer or appointment?

When creating or editing a task, use the Link field. You can link a task to a Customer, an Appointment or a Payment. The linked record will appear in the task's detail view for quick navigation.

What are the task priority levels?

Tasks can be set to High, Medium or Low priority. The Tasks page has a "High Priority" filter to focus on urgent items. Tasks are displayed with a colour-coded priority badge.

💰 Payments & Expenses

What is the difference between a Payment and an Expense?

Payments are income records — money you have received or are expecting from a customer. Expenses are costs — money you have spent or plan to spend.

Both can be linked to a customer or a task for tracking context.

Can I associate a payment with a customer?

Yes. When creating a payment, you can optionally select a customer. The payment will then appear in that customer's detail page timeline. You can also leave the customer field blank for standalone payments.

🔒 Privacy & Data

Does the app send my data to any server?

No. All data is stored locally on your iPhone. The app does not have backend servers and does not transmit your records anywhere.

The only network request the app makes is to load a font from Google Fonts on startup (used for text rendering). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete all my data?

To permanently remove all data, delete Solorise CRM from your iPhone. iOS will automatically erase all associated app data. Alternatively, use Settings → Data & Storage to clear demo data or perform targeted deletions from within the app.

Can I transfer my data to a new iPhone?

Yes, via a manual backup:

  1. On your old iPhone: create a backup via Settings and save it to iCloud Drive or another shared location.
  2. On your new iPhone: install Solorise CRM, go to Settings → Restore from Backup, choose the file and restore.
